Research Interests

I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Freiburg and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Basel. As a PostDoc in Cognitive Science, my research explores the intersection of Cognitive and Social Psychology. I am particularly interested in how our advanced cognitive abilities, such as categorization, can paradoxically contribute to social exclusion through the formation and persistence of stereotypes.
